Organised by the Nobel Prize Museum, Nobel Week Lights illuminates the city of Stockholm in a kaleidoscope of light. Buildings around the city are lit up with illuminations designed by local and international creatives – from student artists to established designers.
Inspired by Nobel Prize winners – from scientific discoveries to literature and humanitarian work – the light displays add warmth and sparkle to the frosty cityscape, while shining a light on the incredible achievements of Nobel laureates past and present.
So as you explore the city, you’ll see lit-up buildings, light installations and illuminated displays while getting a crash course in Nobel history. You can take a free guided tours (book via the website) or simply wander the streets and admire the lights yourself.
