Squeezed into a vaulted cellar one floor below street level, Lodge 32 has dorm beds and doubles available at rock-bottom prices.
It’s a little bit grubby and very, very cramped, but there are few places as cheap anywhere else in the city.
If you’re really on an economy drive, the cheapest option is to sleep in either the ten- or 14-bed dorm. These can feel really overcrowded though, so it’s well worth stretching to one of the more spacious four- or six-bed dorms if you can.
The hostel also has a couple of private double rooms. Both of these share facilities out along the corridor. They’re not really up to hotel standards, but are reasonably comfortable for the money.
There’s no proper kitchen at Lodge 32, though guests do get use of a microwave and kettle.
Note that as with most other hostels in Sweden, you’ll have to bring your own bed sheets or pay extra to borrow a set. Sleeping bags are not allowed.
