In November, Helsinki’s Wanha Satama exhibition centre transforms into a haven for art, design, antique, and vintage enthusiasts.

Every corner of this lovingly restored 19th-century dock warehouse will be filled with vintage treasures including furniture, jewellery and art.

If you enjoy the thrill of the hunt but are also conscious of your environmental impact, this is the perfect place to source beautiful pre-loved items.

Don’t forget to set aside some time to explore the building itself. Mixing red bricks with big expanses of glass, Wanha Satama was once used as a storage unit for goods moving in and out of the nearby docks, and is considered one of Helsinki’s architectural gems.

The area right outside the exhibition hall, Katajanokka district, is a fun place to explore too –  you’ll find cosy cafés dotted among the art nouveau and Jugendstil buildings.
