Flow Festival, Helsinki
August 12 - August 14
Since its launch back in 2004, Helsinki’s Flow Festival has been regularly recognised as Finland’s best festival. This multicultural three-day event boasts big name performers, spanning genres from indie rock to jazz, soul, folk and club music – plus The Finnish National Opera.

Besides the music, the festival is packed with visual arts, dance performances, talks, film screenings, design, urban spaces and food and drinks. In 2018 it showcased 140 artists and attracted more than 84,000 visitors – and there is no reason to believe the scale will be smaller this year.
Flow Festival is based in the industrial surroundings of a disused power plant northeast of the city centre. And the organisers behind this urban music and arts festival take great measures to make the event as sustainable as possible, so you can enjoy yourself with a clean conscience.
