Enjoy a three-hour bike tour of Stockholm and discover a rich mix of modern and historical architecture, plus restaurants, lively cafés and imposing public squares.

Skilled bike guides will kit you out with the best city bikes and equipment. Cycle off to see the Old Town and get superb views of hip Södermalm.

Pass historical sights and hear engaging tales about the Swedish capital from your guide as you cruise along winding alleys that conceal quaint courtyards. With dedicated bike paths all over the city, it’s easy to bike safely through town. Your guide will also point out some of the best shops and restaurants to return to and explore in your own time.

Cycling in cosy yet cosmopolitan Stockholm is the best way to see the city like a local. You’ll explore Stockholm’s National City Park, a unique eco-park. Your guide will lead you on a ride through stunning natural surroundings close to the city. Riding from the city along the waterfront, you’ll pass Astrid Lindgren’s World and the Vasa Museum before reaching the Estonia Memorial and the Galärkyrkogården Cemetery. Next stop is the old quarter, Djurgårdsstaden, situated behind the Gröna Lund amusement park. Some of the quarter’s beautiful wooden houses date back to the 18th century.

Afterwards, you’ll pass by the Skansen open-air museum and the well-known Waldemarsudde art museum. Continue cycling along the waterfront for a look at the entrance to Stockholm’s harbour and the boats passing by. You’ll also have a nice view of Feather Island, where LO Smith sold home-brewed vodka illegally at the end of the 19th century. From Blockhusudden you’ll continue on through the scenic surroundings of the northern parts of Djurgården before heading back to your starting point.

This tour is recommended for cyclists aged 12 and over – there are a few hills involved. Children must be confident cyclists (capable of riding 10–15 miles/15–20km in three hours) in order to keep up with the group.
