For three decades, Copenhagen’s annual Culture Night has lit up the city’s autumn break, turning more than 200 venues – from world-class museums to quaint little churches, sprawling lush parks to hushed libraries – into welcoming havens of creativity.
This is a fun and lively celebration that’s always worth a look. To get involved you’ll need a Kulturpas (110 DKK; kids under 12 go free), which gives you access to all of the events taking place, from concerts to guided tours.
Some events and activities are available in English – just use the search filters on the official website to find them!
The pass also gives you free access to public transport in central Copenhagen for the whole evening (zones 1 to 99, which is basically all of Greater Copenhagen). The full programme is insane, and with so much happening across the city, the main problem will be planning how to spend your night.
