Buster is an international film festival dedicated to kids and teenagers, with more than 170 film screenings planned over the two-week-long event.
Tens of thousands of kids are expected to show up, and it’s easy to see why – the festival shows a mind-bogglingly diverse selection of films for younger viewers, from niche animations to live action Hollywood films like Harry Potter.
One really cool thing about this festival is Buster i Naturen (Buster in Nature). This outdoor part of the festival takes place during the festival’s final weekend at Amager Fælled, a huge nature reserve just outside the city.
Families attending this part of the festival can check out movies in a tented cinema, grab snacks from food stands, play nature bingo and generally lark about outdoors. If you want to attend, you can grab tickets and see the full program here.
