This private, half-day tour of Stockholm gives you an overview of the city’s layout, along with all the information you need to find your way around the central areas.
The tour lasts for three and a half hours and is run by a local, authorised Stockholm guide who speaks English fluently. The guide also knows some French, Greek and German.
On the tour you will wander through the cobbled streets of the old city, Gamla Stan, and see the Royal Palace. After that, you’ll make your way over to the lush Stockholm island of Djurgården where many of the city’s best museums are found.
During the tour you’ll receive maps and information, as well as some of the guide’s personal recommendations for good restaurants. Highlights include a visit to the Vasa Museum, a wander through the Old Town, and a glimpse of the fantastical royal stage coaches.
Participants must be aged 10 or over. Kids between 8–10 are welcome if they are happy to walk! Tours begin at 10am, and the guide will meet you at your accommodation on request. As you will be spending time outside it’s advisable to dress for the weather and to wear comfortable shoes.
Exclusions: Entry fees and local transportation costs are not included. Gratuities (optional) are not included.
