Norway
The smoky smell of whisky and the fresh taste of beer will be sure to lure lovers of these precious liquids to Bergen’s sixth annual Whisky and Beer Festival. Stretching over two days at the end of January, it’s the largest of its kind in Norway.
It’s hosted by The Tasting Room, a dedicated whisky bar in the heart of the city, though the actual event takes place at the Grieghallen, at Edvard Griegsplass 1.
Here, you can sample Norway’s largest selection of beers and whisky, and can join whisky and beer master classes, taught by lecturers and experts from all over the world.
A selection of day-tickets and passes are available for the event, including the entrance fee, a number of drinks coupons, a tasting glass and more. You just have to be at least 20 years old to attend.
