Denmark
Whatever the time of day or night and wherever you find yourself in Denmark this February, some talented jazz musicians will be performing somewhere near you.

Vinterjazz (‘Winter Jazz’) is a jazz music festival consisting of over 600 concerts held all across the country. The festival is lauded as a massive collaborative effort between 120 different venues and 25 organisers, in large cities and small towns across Denmark.
Some concerts are ticketed but a large number are completely free to attend. This year is the 20th festival, with US jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis the big draw. But there are also plenty of local and other international acts to see.
