There will be something cheesy going on at Stockholm’s Münchenbryggeriet (The Munich Brewery) in the middle of February as the Ostfestivalen (Cheese Festival) lures you with its enticing smells and flavours.

The three-day festival is a melting pot for Swedish dairies to showcase their tasty products to cheese lovers. Visitors will get a true gourmet experience as the tasty bites can be combined with different wine and beer samples.

Fittingly, the event takes place in a former brewery, now turned exhibition and conference centre, right in the heart of the Swedish capital.
The cheeses themselves come in all shapes, sizes and consistencies, presented by skilled experts who work with the best local ingredients.

Both the cheeses and their creators will also compete for recognition and honorary medals. Your festival ticket includes all the cheese samples, but if you book it online in advance, you’ll take a little bite off the price.
