While the words ‘technology’ and ‘festival’ might not seem to go together, Copenhagen’s Techfestival isn’t just heavy presentations aimed solely at hardcore techies.
Described as a place “Where humans and technology meet”, it takes place in the raw industrial setting of the capital’s trendy Meat Packing District – just a short walk from Copenhagen Central Station.
Over three days in September, the festival will feature more than 200 talks, installations, short workshop sessions and day-long summits run by experts in their field – all aiming to cover new tools, technologies, movements and mindsets of tech-savvy humans.
The many gigabytes of new inspiration will be balanced out with a number of social meetings, music events and after-hours drinks, so you’ll have the chance to make new friends who share your interests.
Last year was only the second edition of the festival, but it already attracted over 16,000 tech-curious souls to Copenhagen – from more than 35 different countries. So, clear your personal memory card to make room for new info and plot those dates into your smartphone right away.
