Two of Stockholm’s biggest thrift merchants, Gustavbergsloppis and Jetsons Retro and Design, have pooled together to create an ambitious, XL-sized flea market (or loppis) at the Stockholmsmässan conference centre in Stockholm.

The flea market is expected to be the biggest of its kind in Sweden this year. Retro and second-hand clothes, designer furnishings, collectors’ items and much more can be scooped at the 114,000 sq m fair and congress centre, with prices starting as low as 1 SEK (around 10 cents).

Stockholmsmässan, located in Alvsjö, a southern suburb of Stockholm, is a 70-year-old Stockholm institution and is worth a visit in its own right. Nearby Alvsjö Station is easily reached by local train from the city centre. And in case you’re wondering – yes, it’s okay to haggle.
