If you find yourself in Stockholm on the evening of 3rd November, you’re in for a fright, as the city will be overrun by an army of witches, zombies and other ghastly creatures.
No, it’s not the end of the world. It’s Shockholm – described as Scandinavia’s largest Halloween parade, and definitely one of its most blood-chilling events.
This gathering of ghouls and spectres will wind its way through the streets of Stockholm, finishing at the city’s central Kungsträdgården park.
Here, the assembled hordes will be treated to live music, and prizes will be awarded for the most hair-raising costumes.
This fun-filled Halloween bash finishes with a performance of Shockholm’s very own song – a terrifying tune that speaks of ‘pirates and werewolves and viking kings’. Be there – if you dare!
