Now in its third year, Oslo Pix is a diverse festival in the Norwegian capital, showcasing European, North American and – last but not least – Scandinavian film.
Aimed to be a meeting point for anyone who harbours a passion for film and film culture, the festival organisers hope to bring filmmakers and filmgoers together, showing movies that locals would otherwise be unlikely to come across.
At the same time, glamorous red-carpet premieres, special opening events and Q&A sessions with directors give Oslo Pix all the elements of a classic film festival.
The programme, which can be viewed in full on the festival’s website, includes genres as varied as action, adventure, animation and mystery. Prizes will be awarded for fiction and documentary films.
Venues include the Klingenberg, Saga and Vega Scene cinemas in central Oslo.
