Challenge yourself against some of Copenhagen’s fittest fitness fanatics in a 5km race with a difference.
Taking place at Amager Strandpark, which comes complete with an artificial island, the Nordic Race is a challenging 5k run complete with obstacles, sand dunes and winding muddy paths. Sound tough? Maybe, but the course is designed to be suitable for both beginners and seasoned runners.
The route for this off-road event stays in the open (i.e. no forests), making it also ideal for spectators. Those doing the cheering on can also take part in competitions and listen to live music.
By April the Danish spring should have arrived, making a trip to one of Copenhagen’s largest outside, sea-side parks a potentially warm and pleasant day out. Even so, we’d still recommend checking the weather forecast if you’re planning a picnic.
