Calling all food lovers: Norway’s largest food festival is back for another year! The food festival’s goal is to increase awareness about Norway’s local food scene and explore the wide variety of local food and drink that’s available to Norwegian shoppers.

While it’s essentially a massive ad campaign and exhibition for the Norwegian food industry, the various ingredients and dishes on offer are legitimately delicious – with over 200 exhibitors, you’ll not find a better opportunity to sample so many local delicacies in one place.

The festival also features various awards for the country’s best bread, honey and healthy fast food, as well as one for the country’s best local food entrepreneur. There are even cooking courses for the kids, where they can learn how to make scrumptious dishes with the freshest local ingredients.

Costs vary for food samples and events, and you’ll need a least a bit of spending money to make a visit here worthwhile.
