Scandinavia’s biggest amusement park will open its doors to a whole graveyard’s worth of spooky attractions – and there will be bags of creepy fun for visitors of all ages.

The youngest can enjoy not-so-scary activities like dressing up and going candy hunting in Rabbit Land. They can find their way through the straw maze and pass scarecrows in the bewitching Liseberg grounds, which are illuminated especially for the Halloween season..

Everyone who’s 11 or older can experience the stuff that nightmares are made of in the theme park’s haunted house. Just watch out for the creatures looking for humans to ‘experiment’ on. You might not even dare to look behind the barred door that leads to the attic…

Liseberg opened back in 1923 and the popular park certainly pulls out all the stops for the spooky season between summertime and Christmas. Besides all the scary stuff the park has more than 40 adrenaline-pumping rides, most of which open for Halloween.

As well as the entrance fee, there is a range of tickets and passes available for the rides. Note that the park is open for Halloween from 11–13, 18–20 & 25–31 October, plus 1–3 November – see the Liseberg website for full details.
