Calling all G&T lovers! If you’re in Denmark’s second city in the middle of November, you’ll want to check out this festival.
Originating from India and rising to fame in Britain, the beloved gin and tonic has become a trendy choice in Danish cocktail bars too. And now Danes and visitors can treat their taste buds to an array of exciting gins and tonic waters at a dedicated festival in Aarhus.
A two-day appreciation of this classic drink, the festival is set in a 19th-century building that once was part of the military horse barracks. So saddle up for a ride with both international and Danish gins while enjoying the DJ’s loungy tunes. More than 100 different gins will be represented, while three local cocktail bars will be taking care of the VIP bar at the event, serving both classic and alternative cocktails.
Two different types of tickets are available for this festival. The regular ticket includes a personal glass that allows you to taste different gins and tonic waters, while the VIP ticket tops it up with free gin and tonic samples, as well as free cocktails in the VIP bar. There are a limited number of tickets left for the Friday!
