A relatively recent addition to the Scandi film festival circuit, CPH PIX aims to feature ‘both oddballs of mainstream cinema and genre-bending niche films’.
Over two weeks in October and November, the festival will showcase films from different continents and genres. This year’s event will open with Lars von Trier’s serialist thriller ‘The House That Jack Built’, one of many homegrown films to be screened during the festival.
There’s truly something for everyone here, from the animated tales of Swedish children’s author Astrid Lindgren to brash new Danish films with a distinctly more grown-up feel.
Tickets for individual screenings go on sale in September, or you can buy a ‘Film Pass’, which lets you watch as many movies as you like. There’s a 20% discount for students and seniors.
