Start your engines and get ready for a couple of action-packed days at the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. Dubbed “Europe’s most beautiful street race”, the Danish capital’s greatest car racing event is a unique chance for a trip back in time to the romantic days of motor racing.
Based around the race course of Bellahøj, northeast of Copenhagen city centre, this rubber-burning family event combines true nostalgia for older car enthusiasts with unforgettable action for the younger generation. With the glare of polished chrome and the smell of gasoline in the air, hundreds of historic racing cars and their drivers will compete in a range of different classes – some featuring iconic Danish and international drivers, including H.R.H. Prins Joachim, who’s a proud patron of the event.
The event is a tribute to classic cars and a long-passed racing culture. Come for the screaming tires and stick around for the spray of victory champagne. As well as watching the races you can visit exhibitions, car clubs and bookshops and enjoy food and drinks on site. Children under 14 go free with a paying adult.
