Competitive video gaming, or eSports, has become recognised as a bonafide competitive sport. With the advent of services such as Twitch, they’ve become a spectator sport as well.
Just like any other sport, nothing beats the experience of going to the stadium and seeing the competition up close. In this case, though, the stadium is the massive Bella Center in Copenhagen, and the competition will be a three-day epic series of matches involving more than 1,500 of the world’s best gamers.
Whether you’re a long-time fan of CS:GO, Overwatch, Fifa, Hearthstore or League of Legends, or whether you’re a newcomer ready take your first big steps into the world of competitive gaming, you’ll want to check out Scandinavia’s largest video game competition, the Copenhagen Games, which takes place during the last weekend in March.
Over 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the games as spectators. The event is working to raise the international profile of Danish gamers (which the event’s organisers proudly claim are some of the best gamers in the world), and to bring a world-class gaming experience that everyone can enjoy.
Tickets are on sale now, and if you feel you have what it takes to hold your own in one of the tournaments, participant tickets are still available as well.
