Bråvalla is a summer festival in the classic mould and is now the biggest outdoor music event in Sweden.
Since its inception in 2013, Bråvalla Festival has grown astonishingly quickly – partly because the festival takes place over four days and, unlike many other big multi-day music events in Sweden, it’s a proper camping festival in the style of Denmark’s Roskilde or the UK’s Glastonbury.
Needless to say, Bråvalla has had considerable success in attracting some huge names to the little Swedish city of Norrköping – this year’s line-up includes The Killers, Linkin Park and The Chainsmokers… not forgetting Swedish legend Håkan Hellström.
The setting at Norrköping Airfield, just outside the city, is ideal for a festival full of music, food, activities and a fair bit of beer-induced merriment. Tickets can be purchased for the full festival or a single day.
