He didn’t make it to Stockholm to pick up his Nobel Prize, but Bob Dylan will be in the Swedish capital for two concerts in April.
Bob Dylan caused a stir at the end of last year when, having being awarded the prestigious Nobel Prize for literature – unusually awarded to a songwriter rather than an author – Dylan declined to come to Sweden to collect his prize, citing ‘prior commitments’.
Nonetheless, the legendary singer-songwriter will be in Stockholm this year to perform two dates with his band at the 3,000-capacity Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre, as part of a wider European tour.
With tickets still available at the time of writing, the event could be an ideal time to combine a trip to Sweden with a glimpse of a (reluctant?) Nobel Prize winner.
