Start practicing your best moves and get ready to dance your way into 2020, as the Rockefeller Music Hall puts on Oslo’s biggest – and likely most exotic – New Year’s celebration. The rhythm is definitely gonna get you as the tunes of reggaeton, salsa, bachata and merengue will be bouncing off the dance floor, hitting party-cipants with nothing but good vibes.
Among the musical line-up you will find DJ Spike, and the Sweden-based DJ Mike Prez, who is a former professional soccer player from the Dominican Republic – now kicking off behind the decks instead of on the field.
The Rockerfeller Music Hall was established in 1986 and once housed the local public baths. Today it’s part of an event complex with different stages for festivals and concerts – it’s well known locally for the annual Inferno Metal Festival, which takes place each spring.
The Big Latin Party is hosted by the local station Radio Latin-Amerika, which is hoping to repeat last year’s success as 2019 comes to an end. So get your ticket and start the countdown to a party full of promise!
