It is time for a new chapter of Lit Fest Bergen when The Bergen House of Literature once again dedicates four days in February to the written word. Set in the city’s literary hub, this festival will split its focus equally between non-fiction and fiction.
This is a chance to meet well-known authors from all around Norway as well as visitors from destinations such as India, Syria, South Africa and the USA. You can listen to talks from authors, journalists and editors as well as from writers with interesting backgrounds in music, acting and science.
Lit Fest Bergen wants to inspire new thinking and reading experiences, and includes everything from debates to dance performances and other festivities, as well as a section featuring writers of Sámi literature.
Festival-goers will also have a chance to wine and dine at the venue where the on-site café and brasserie will serve up Nordic and European-inspired dishes with fish and meat.
