Join the action in Stockholm as the home of the Swedish football national team is transformed into a giant obstacle course for one day. On February 9 Scandinavia’s biggest stadium, Friends Arena, will once again host the challenging Arena Run. A unique race for both elite runners and those just looking for some fun activities with friends or family.
You’ll get adrenaline-pumping action over six floors, while jumping through car tires, fighting your way through a sea of foamy bricks and climbing over towers built to slow you down. It’s a battle bathed in light effects and accompanied by the beats of a live DJ.
Protected from the Swedish winter temperatures beneath a retractable roof, the Arena Run sees thousands of participants compete in different categories, from elite runners to teams of 4–6 members, family teams, plus mini runners starting from two years old. You can race for the title or your own personal record in the 5-kilometre race, or opt for the easier 2-kilometre family-friendly alternative.
