Hostels and hotels in Södermalm
Compared with Norrmalm and Gamla Stan, Södermalm has relatively few good accommodation options – especially when it comes to midrange and luxury hotels. There are however some great cheap places to stay in Södermalm, including several hostels. One of them, Skanstulls, is excellent. For something quieter try the former prison on the adjacent island of Långholmen.
